Sarah SMAJE

Growing up in the UK, Sarah’s love for travel and adventure resulted in a move over to Australia in
2001, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. Although
she will always have a love for science, her interest in story telling and creative pursuits eventually
led her to return to the UK and pursue a career in Film and Television. Back in London, she began
work at ‘Pulse Films’, a respected production company in the heart of Soho. Here she worked
closely with a senior producer in the development, pre-production and shooting of numerous
projects including music videos, short films, feature films and animation.

After several years in London, Sarah returned to Australia, where she picked up a camera and
decided to teach herself the other side of film and video creation: shooting and editing. Discovering
a passion and natural skill for visual story telling, Sarah expanded her skill-set and has now been
working as a freelance camera operator, videographer and editor for several years in Sydney.
Having always had a passion for documentary as an art form, Sarah was naturally drawn to the
PAMdemonium project, which will be her first feature film as editor.
